BLUE SKY PIE

$1,080.00

Blue Sky Pie is an original acrylic painting and is part of my Thunder Skies Series. It is 24” x 36” and is set in a black floating frame, ready to hang.

There is a cute movie my daughter and I watched together when she was a young teen. The main character was an expert pie maker.  She had all sorts of wonderful, weird, sometimes sad and often funny names for the pies, depending upon what was in them and what her mood was.

Sometimes a pending storm makes a big fuss in the sky, creating cloud patterns that mix and match and intermingle in crazy ways, making their own pattern in the sky, like a multitude of pie ingredients waiting to come together.  Sometimes the clouds allow little slivers of sky to show through, and they look just like Blue Sky Pie.
