FIREFALL

$900.00
SOLD OUT

Firefall is an original acrylic painting.  It is 24” x 30” and is set in a black floating frame, ready to hang.

I am the first one to admit that sometimes intention has no place in my paintings.  Often, the more intention with which I approach a painting, the more chance I will not fulfill my intention.  Firefall was intended to be a piece in my Stark Series.  There is nothing remotely stark about this painting, so intention gets an epic fail on this one. However, I do love the outcome and so Firefall will have to stand alone.

The piercing reds, yellows and oranges of the leaves in the fall can almost look like fire licking at the tree trunks and filling the sky.  There is such an unspeakable brilliance to the intensity of the colors in the density of a forested area. It’s hard to imagine, it’s hard to replicate, but I give you my version with Firefall.
