ECLIPSE
This Eclipse original acrylic painting is part of my Thunder Skies Series. It is 18” x 24” and is set in a black floating frame, ready to hang.
This painting, Eclipse, is the first of the Thunder Skies Series. I wanted to draw on the look that early spring brings, before the blossoms appear on the trees, leaving them to look like spindly scarecrows resting against a backdrop of a brewing storm. Everything is gray and brooding, the water choppy, and the moon, ever so tentatively attempting to make an appearance finds itself eclipsed by the clouds. So moody. So Broody. So begins the Thunder Skies Series. Eclipse.
