NOT FORGOTTEN

$500.00

This Not Forgotten original acrylic painting is part of my Lake Series. It is 20” x 20” and is set in a natural unstained floating frame, ready to hang.

I often wonder, does the lake feel abandoned and saddened when winter takes over? Winter takes people away from her, giving respite to her and to them as they take long weekends at home instead of upon her shores. The laughter and squealing, splashing, boats, memories being made upon it’s waters are suddenly quieted. Does she feel bereft or relieved? Now the snow has melted, the ice has released her waters, but her trees are barren still, her grasses brown, looking so unappealing and uninviting. Will her families come back soon? Without her makeup of summer, will she be forgotten? No, we remember. We will be back to see you soon. Beautiful, majestic lake with the Van Gogh skies, no you are Not Forgotten.
