COPPER SKY IS CURRENTLY EXHIBITING AT THE CHANHASSEN PUBLIC LIBRARY AND AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE

$900.00

This Copper Sky original acrylic painting is part of my Lake Series. It is 24” x 30” and is set in a black floating frame, ready to hang.

The view from the deck as evening falls, quiet conversations spark with friends as we stare up at the impossible night sky. Today is behind us, our shoulders burned ever so slightly from a day in the sun, still warming us as night falls. A firepit is an offer not yet off the table. The sky comes alive as stars insist on bursting through the now forming darkness, a wispy cloud or two, too thin and wispy to be taken seriously dance across the sky. The moon bobs and weaves around the wispy clouds to take it’s place in the sky. The sun immodestly continues to show the remnants of her colors after she has sunk below the horizon. It lights the sky up and fills everything in a colorful display of the Copper Sky.
