Into the Deep is an original acrylic painting 20” x 20” and is part of my Abstract Series. It is set in a black floating frame, ready to hang.
Into the Deep is a highly textured painting in hues of deep and light blues, swirling in circles of movement. It will pull you in. While my other abstract pieces are created with a more random application of paint and color, I wanted to make this feel almost rhythmic, hypnotizing in the way that deep ocean water is rhythmic and hypnotizing. The colors are laid down in such a way that they can look like waves. The cool colors and pattern are soothing and comforting, a painting to come home to after a chaotic day, a painting to stare at while sinking into the easy chair, relaxing as you watch it swirl.
